The Genesis

Why We Built Vediway

For decades, regional logistics and intra-city cargo transport have suffered from heavy fragmentation. Shop owners and godowns struggled with unpredictable wait times, opaque spot pricing, and zero visibility into driver reliability.

At the same time, thousands of commercial mini-truck drivers (operating Tata Ace, Pickup, and 3-Wheelers) were losing up to 40% of their operational income driving back with completely empty truck beds after completing a single delivery run.

Vediway bridges this divide. By combining algorithmic location matching, competitive real-time bidding, milestone GPS tracking, and two-way OTP delivery verification, we have engineered an efficient freight exchange for local industry and trade.

Our reverse-bidding framework ensures senders receive the most competitive market price, while drivers have complete freedom to price bids according to weight, distance, and helpers.

3. Strict Dual-OTP Custody

Goods custody changes hands strictly via cryptographically generated 4-digit Pickup and Drop OTPs, eliminating cargo mix-ups, fraud, and misplacement claims.

4. Instant Digital Settlements

Integrated with PhonePe Payment Gateway, supporting UPI, NetBanking, and Cards with automated settlement accounting and transparent nominal facilitation fees.
